How To Increase Your Site Traffic

For a newbie like me, the word "traffic" means nothing to me. I don't know how essential those "hits" are until I realize that I can't even get my page indexed in Google search. I hope this will help, I do not wish you struggle like I did.

1. Content
Be sincere. Be yourself. Remember that you are an unique creature - one and the only one, in this world. People will revisit your page because of these main reasons: informative, entertaining and sincerity.

2. Pay To Click
Money is always the best tool to "motivate" people. You can advertise your website by paying anyone who is willing to click and increase the traffic to your site. Otherwise, have your good friends or your relatives to read your blog. Do not forget to rewards them. Being manipulative can only help you at the beginning.

3. Purchase Traffic Pack
I do not try this, as I have just started up this blog and I can't afford this. You can consider buying the service from any companies which see the needs in this area. (I solute these people for their brilliant ideas. Perhaps it might not be too difficult.) Let the money work for you and save your time!

4. Sign Up Site Sharing Website
There are sites like Technorati which can help to increase the visibility of your site. Make sure you ping the site whenever your site gets updated.

5. Announce To The World
There are many ways to do it. What I did was to put my site link in MSN and Yahoo messengers. It helps a little bit.

6. Add Your Site to Google, Yahoo, MSN search index
This is just the first step to get people reach to your site. However, page rank plays an important role too to get you to the top of the searched list.

7. Links To Your Site
This is the most important factor. Try all your ways to get people, especially those with higher PR to link your site from their blogs/sites. By doing this, they cast their votes to your site. Again, money can settle your problem.

8. Comments
No work no gain. Once you have decided to monetize your site, you have to be active. In order to make your effort worth, make your name known by commenting in the famous sites/blogs, become the top commentor.
